Gender and Development (GAD) is a development approach that promotes gender equality, women’s empowerment, and inclusive policies and programs within institutions and communities.
The GAD Office leads the implementation of gender-responsive programs, provides technical assistance, conducts trainings and advocacy activities, and supports the University in complying with national GAD policies and guidelines.
UP Mindanao students, faculty, staff, university units, student organizations, and external partners may request or collaborate with the GAD Office.
Most GAD services are provided free of charge, subject to the availability of resources and schedule.
